Description

Computer software and technology have forever expanded how artists capture and produce their work. Artists can weave together scenes in Photoshop, produce paintings through a screen, create videos, animations, and projections that transport us to new worlds, or even sculpt using a 3D printer. Any original 2D or 3D image-based work created and/or produced through digital software and following exhibition guidelines will be considered. This includes, but is not limited to, digitally produced photography, digital painting, illustration, graphic design, digital video, and non-film projection. Works selected by the jurors will be exhibited in the Maryland Federation of Art’s (MFA) fifth annual Digital Directions Exhibition in Circle Gallery from January 30 – Feb 22, 2025.

Please click the button above to enter this show on ArtCall.org. You will need to create a free account to enter your work.

We are using a new entry platform that uses terminology different from what you might be used to seeing. In ArtCall:

  • You will be asked to pay for the number of artworks you’ll be uploading in advance. You can add more later.

  • The word “application” means artwork, so one application is one work of art.

  • “Attachments” means images of the artwork, you can upload up to 2 images. You do not need to pay extra for attachments.
