Studio PAUSE @ Gampopa Center – A Residency
Sunday, July 16 | 12:30 – 4pm
St. Luke’s Church, 1101 Bay Ridge Ave Annapolis
Studio PAUSE @ Gampopa Center is an art pop-up show and workshop designed to create a space in the Annapolis area where everyone can feel safe to share their art and be themselves. Join us for an Art PAUSE and a Writing PAUSE, as well as a short meditation with members of the Gampopa Center. Make artwork with the featured artist and reflect on the art through writing. We invite you to see if you can just make the time to PAUSE. No experience with art or meditation necessary!

Words on the Thirds
Wednesday, July 19 | 6pm
The SoCo Arts Lab, 312 Deale Road Tracys Landing
The Words on the Thirds poetry workshop returns July 19th at the Arts Lab. Standing in for Nancy Murray as coordinator of July’s workshop will be award winning poet, advocate, and leader in the Arts and Poetry community, Hiram Larew. Weather permitting, participants will enjoy the rural outdoors of the Arts Lab through a plein air poetry writing experience. Words on the Thirds is open to all who want to learn more about words and how to use them. No experience necessary!

THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WM. SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED)
Weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30pm at Reynolds Tavern
All 37 plays in 97 minutes! Three madcap men in tights weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories, and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter!
THE TEMPEST
July 6 – 23 at 7:30pm indoors on the Main Stage
The Tempest is often considered Shakespeare’s farewell to the stage and shines a spotlight on family relationships, justice and forgiveness. The production is directed by Tony Award nominee and Helen Hayes Award-winning director Donald Hicken.
JULY CABARET – THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK
July 10 at 7:30pm indoors in the Cabaret Room
Enjoy an evening of live music! These popular costumed and choreographed productions feature our resident vocalists and special Broadway guest performers, accompanied by the popular Unified Jazz Ensemble.
MARYLAND HALL PRESENTS CTM’S CABARET IN CONCERT WITH LAURA OSNES
July 29 at 7:30pm at Maryland Hall’s Main Theatre
Classic Theatre of Maryland (CTM) celebrates a decade of professional world-class theater in Annapolis with a special concert starring Broadway star Laura Osnes (Bandstand, Cinderella, Bonnie and Clyde, Anything Goes, South Pacific, Grease, Crazy For You), featuring our Cabaret Artists and special guests, and accompanied by the Unified Jazz Ensemble. The entire concert is conceived/directed by Sally Boyett and Produced by CTM.
