Opening at the Willow Gallery at Quiet Waters Park on February 19 and through March 30, 2025 is the exhibition of The Maryland Society of Portrait Painters. It is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1982 for the purpose of promoting and encouraging the development of portraiture. Membership is open to individuals and organizations interested in the art or portraiture or active in creating portraits in painting, drawing and sculpture.

The Opening Reception will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 1:30 to 3:30. The Galleries in the Visitor Center are opened from 9 – 4 weekdays and 10 – 4 on weekends. The park entry fee of $6 will be waived for the Reception only.
