Description

The Annapolis Arts District (annapolisartsdistrict.org) seeks a part-time administrator to assist with operations and communications. Experience in social media and knowledge of the local arts community are required. The candidate will work closely with the AAD executive committee to determine responsibilities and priorities. Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact among board members and other external partners
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Track daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Organizing and posting to social media on the different platforms

Requirements and skills

  • Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in English
  • Up-to-date with advancements in social media applications
  • Knowledge of the local arts community is required
