In addition to supporting the arts and historic preservation through grants, the Arts Council hosts and/or funds a number of programs, events, trainings and special projects throughout the year. Most of these events or programs would not be possible without the dedicated monetary and in kind support of sponsors.

When you sponsor an event your logo will appear on electronic and printed advertising and program material. You will be featured on our website and social media sites in conjunction with event promotions. You will be thanked publicly at the events and be listed as a donor for a year in our quarterly newsletter. You will be expressing to the communities of Anne Arundel County that you are invested in enriching their lives.

Sponsored Events:

Arts in Education Grant Programming – sponsor up to $55,000 to support artists residency and auditorium grants to Anne Arundel County schools.

Arts in Education Teacher Art Institute – Annually the Arts Council hosts a full day of workshops in arts integration for all Anne Arundel County teachers.

The Annie Awards – The Annie Awards honor six individuals who have contributed and supported the arts in an exemplary fashion.

Outreach Events – Speakers and training workshops are provided several times a year for grantee organizations to support the growth of their organization.

The Gala – The Art Council’s annual fundraiser is a great time to be recognized by the Artists and Arts Community served by the grants and programming provided by the Arts Council.

BWI Exhibits – Currently in our 12th cycle, the Arts Council hosts a juried exhibit and reception of Anne Arundel County Artists at the BWI Airport. Our exhibit area is between the C & D departures concourse.

Arts & Entertainment District Events, Projects or Festivals – Several projects, events and festivals are held in the A&E District throughout the year. Contact the Arts Council if you are interested in supporting or proposing an event in the A&E District.
